THE CHALLENGE: No matter how perfect an AC power source, distortion is added within any cable carrying AC, especially within any stranded cable. Even the most sophisticated power supplies and filters cannot completely eliminate these upstream irregularities.
THE SOLUTION: NRG-1EU uses solid Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors in a Quad-Helix configuration. Solid conductors prevent strand interaction, which is the greatest single source of distortion in an audio cable or in an AC power cable. The less complicated grain structure and fewer impurities within LGC copper significantly reduce distortion compared to normal high-purity copper. The Quad-Helix spiral creates a fixed low-inductance relationship between conductors.

The per meter version of the NRG-1 EU has thinner dielectrics, than the terminated version, for better flexibility. It is the ideal cable for replacement of the fixed power cables of low to medium cost turntables.
